THE TINGKOP
(US$ x.xx)
Product Description:
Crafted by the Tagbanuas of Southern Palawan, the Tingkop is made of
manually processed bamboo skin using a one under one close weave which
transitions from a square base to a round rim. It is a classic example
of the native flair for symmetry and masterful combination of
indigenous materials. This basket is used as harvest storage hence the
closely fitted and reinforced cover to prevent entry of rodents.
