THE KENDI
(US$ x.xx)
Product Description:
This Maranao brass teapot is etched with vegetal motifs on its surface.
The Kendi is an epitome of the Maranao modified art of brass-molding.
The Maranaos use strip method in doing the typical okir designs.
Paraffin is mixed with almaciga and beeswax in equal proportion, then a

alongside to form a series of okir designs. This strip technique made

brass products.
