Unlike the other traditionally made Maranao betel nut containers which are made of solid brass, this particular betel nut container is made of bamboo lined with brass. Its body and lid are embellished with US minted coins dated 1911, 1912, 1913, 1917, 1907, 1915. Its stained surface matches the aged look of the coins and rim.

This container makes an attractive tabletop accent and a jewelry box.
