KALINGAS
The Kalingas are indigenous peoples of Kalinga, Apayao in the northern
part of the Philippines. They are generally known to be tall, dark
complexioned, and lissome with high bridged noses.

The Kalinga pot also known as Palayok had been noted for its simple and
globular shape with geometric designs on the body. It was sold
commercially during the ancient times.
Palayok makes an excellent storage container, table top
ornament, and floral pot. Its darkly waxed surface etched with
elaborate border design gives the pot an exquisite look.
