T'BOLIS

T'boli is an ancient group of people living in the in South Cotabato in Mindanao. They are expert hunters which are considered as their main source of livelihood but they also practice slash and burn method of farming of rice, corn and vegetables.

Product Description:

The Singkil of the T'bolis are traditionally used as anklets. These are made of brass with either incised or embossed designs in four alternating patterns namely: zig-zag, alternating combination of solid and dashed lines, zig-zag separated by solid and dashed lines, and three rows of zig-zag lines.

Singkil, nowadays makes an interesting and attractive table centerpiece accents, curtain holders, towel holders, and even as fashion accessories.
