The Ilongots or "people of the forest" is a Philippine ethnic group largely concentrated at the source of the Cagayan River. They are also scattered in the southern Sierra Madre and Carballo mountains. The Ilongots mainly lives by fishing and hunting. Food production is only a secondary occupation.
