IFUGAOS
Ifugao is an ethnic group living the in Ifugao province situated in the
Central Cordillera Mountains of northern Luzon, the biggest island of
the Philippine archipelago.

Product Description:
This ritual box of the Ifugao is carved from wood with two opposing
heads of stylized pigs at the opposite ends. Emphasis is given to the
snout and ears of the animals that adds ethnic appeal. It is also
blackened to achieve an antique look. This box is covered with a flat
board lid with cut portion that coincide with the opening at the body
and the portion that outlines the head enabling it to shut. This is
traditionally used for rituals wherein it contains small carvings of
deities.
The Punamban's unique form and shape it makes an interesting and unique interior accent, container, and planter.
